    Hello,
How would one go about running ROS code on the duckiebot that is not from the duckie-git repository or from the duckiebot manuals?

Would we need to put the code into a container for the duckiebot to run it?

You don’t need to put the code in a container. Can you have a look here and tell me if this answers your question?

in short – you just clone the repo on the duckiebot and then mount (the -v option in docker run) the catkin_ws that you just cloned on top of the one in the container and then you will be running the one that is locally cloned. You can then make edits etc. This should be better described somewhere sorry for that.
