I am a roboticist! I am also a first year PhD student at the Montreal Institute of Learning Algorithms (MILA), advised by Dr. Liam Paull. My interests are diverse; predominantly along the intersections of deep learning, computer vision, and autonomous robotics. Specifically, I believe that unsupervised/self-supervised learning holds great potential, especially for challenging robotic perception problems such as SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) and autonomous driving. I am currently investigating the applicability of projective geometry as a rich perceptual signal for learning such capabilities. When I’m not doing research, I love to spend time writing technical blogs, tutorials, and open-source code.
